Les insectes et la conservation / identification et description du cycle de vie

Résumé : L’auteur commence par exposer le problème des attaques d’insectes. Puis il fait un point sur les insectes (mode de vie, de reproduction...) et présente les différentes familles (Thysanura, Isoptera, psocoptera, coleoptera, etc) avec des dessins. Il donne ensuite des conseils pour un stockage optimum des livres. Enfin, il propose des méthodes pour contrôler le développement des insectes nuisibles pour les livres. L’intérêt principal de ce livre est l’index multilingue qui présente pour chaque insecte le nom scientifique, en anglais, en américain, en français, en allemand, en espagnol.
